My mission is to strengthen Am Yisrael through music.
What are you seeking in this one precious life?
I began writing music at 15, captivated by the alchemy of lyrics and melody. Since then, I've been on a mission to share the truth of my inner life through song—because there's nothing quite like the relief of recognizing a shared truth when somebody dares to share it.
In 2019, my husband, three kids and I moved from Denver, Colorado to Ra’anana Israel. A few months later, Covid hit. Just as we were finding our footing in this new country, the October 7th attack occurred.
Throughout it all, one thing has remained constant: music.
Music unites. It heals, inspires, and transports. It allows us to dream when dreaming feels impossible. It saves us.
I think of the musical rosh chodesh prayer services we shared with neighbors over our back yard fence during Covid lockdown. I think of that Friday night crammed into our mamad with family and friends during the Iran attacks, singing Shabbat songs together. I think of my weekly visits with a guitar to a local rehab center, where "Country Roads" never fails to delight—Hebrew speakers, Arabic speakers, people who don't understand a word of English—none of it matters when music is involved.
This is the power of music—it transcends everything that divides us.
