When we leave our small selves behind, we free ourselves up to contribute something beautiful to the world. We can perform G-d’s work through our hands, voices, and bodies. Although we create art from our personal experiences, the moment we think of our art as a vehicle to glorify ourselves, our work diminishes in power.
